The engine is tuned and built by Ian Oddiefied, and the ECU is one of his masterpieces among other tuning parts. His homepage is http://www.oddified.com/index.php but there's not much info about the ECU there!

the ecu is quite handy,it tells you the amount of time engine has been running
which is a very good feature,cause you can tell when it needs it's next servise! (ie-piston ring etc)
it records the hours run time.

also it is great for setting clutch ie-rpm of engine...its tells you what rpm clutch will engage at.

another feature is ignition timing,it alters it in so many maps,mine is set at maximum map 10
which gives you a great hp boost,some say 1bhp extra...

it saves fuel also running engine at its optimum setting.

and it also tells you the maximum rpm of your engine which is benifical for any man tuning the engine.

YES a very good product.

The oddified parts are really awesome! Do you also have the Mag-diff with coils from Oddie?
Oddie haven't wrote the prices on his stuff om the homepage, so may I ask you what the Oddie engine and ECU cost?
And also if you have the mag-diff, what the price is on it!

no i don't use a harm mag diff,i hear they are good,but i use a modified fg 4plate diff,i sent this to english current champion david bowen to modify for me,so now that is fitted too for 2011.(fg quad locking diff)

yes the oddified parts are very good,his engines are very aggersive and pump out loads of power,mainly low down.
take note also of the clutch i got,tourex from michael mileke,it is a true masterpiece,carbon fiber pads which NEVER wear out so it is a none replacment piece.
it has 4 settings of engagment,which is quite cool actually.
i have mine set on phase 3 which comes in around 10500rpm
essential for racing.

i had a brand new zenoah only done 5-6race days at our club,i sent this engine to ian oddie and paid 170pounds to tune it up fully,so if you had to get complete engine add the 170 on top of price of new zenoah,not bad though.

also the ecu is 170pounds

awnser is YES!
it can used in any engine!
