Re: TESTING FG FOR THIS COMING SEASON
cheers bud!!]
to be honest i have a lot of work to do to car right now.
this tray may not even be the one i need yet
i was thinking now i would like to have the turnbuckles above radio tray, rather than underneath.
ths tray means all under tray so servos upside down.
i now think i would prefer all turnbuckles above servo so i might again change
im a fussy man

Re: TESTING FG FOR THIS COMING SEASON
hi sx3
thanks for the compliment man.
i am loving the oddified stuff, real good bite from the engine.
i am going to try some differnt gearing though on it to see how it goes,it may help me with acceleration.
something i can't make a decision on is the steering system, the multiplex is not a 100percent on it's own,it is a great servo but like i mentioned (and all racers have noticed this) it does not center 100percent no matter what you do.
another thing is the tray i am using now some lads in racing have said that the servos (small twin) are not as strong,so care needs to be taken if they get impacted they could burn out,you don't want that in the middle of a 30minute final
so it's a matter of thinking, what do i need, sharper steering with the twin servos and more accurate responce or a lot of corrections with the multiplex but a stronger system with it.
so it decisions decisions for me

Okay, I have 2 Hitec 7955TG mounted as steering servos in my SX3, but have'nt tried them out!
But I would prefer 1 bigass, strong reliable servo instead of 2 premium servos in large scale!
This servo may be something fo you Dan? It works with better performance on a 7,4V LiPo aswell!

very nice.....i like that, being honest i always like to have a nice big steering servo on any of my machines.
but with the low COG with the twin servos and great responce i will test them anyway and see how they go.
i might try and send my multiplex away to them to get some work done.
sx3,do you know where i could send it??
thanks a lot
great idea!!

Actually I don't know exact where to send it! But I do know that you can as a civilian buy cars and spares direct fron HARM and their webshop! So I think your best/cheapest/fastest shot is to contact Mr Spitz on HARM regarding pricing and where to send you multiplex!
