my new fg leopard race 2

hello all,

i have been quite for a long time and don't update much,not much to say really only i got a new leopard race model
it is the competition 2011 model,it was a pretty nice car to build and it seems very strong so far,i am sort of impressed with the quality of it, i am going to be racing this also with EVO for 2012.
thanks to nicola my wife for design of the shell,i thought it turned out nice,i painted it then.

the model was nice to work with i built it in two days,here is the spec

-zenoah 26cc
- steel fg pipe 11 spec
- 2x hitec 805mg modified in to car by myself for steering
2x savox throttle brake
-fg magura all round
- spectrum dx3-s with telementry

how are the rc cars?

yeah a track has opened near me at home so i plan on going to it after christmas,it should be good,the owner owns a hormann,and he want's to kick my butt
should be fun...

so far it seems like a very strong model,but as you see in the video it is difficult to jump,i only jumped it very slight to get familier with it and it sort of wants to go nose down fast,but i'm sure i will learn when i go to track

My cars are geting there... the onroad are almost finished. the baja needs to get a enginecheck.

Your FG Leopard is a really nice car. Seems to handle very well and looks extremely nimble when you`re driving around in your yard.

yes the camber angle was just me testing out the steering,the more positive camber i found the less steering when the tyres were new,but as the tyres wore down on the front i needed less camber for better steering.

but i now have the camber adjusted to zero. and it's ok.


hello waqr,i am just keeping it easy and not going too mad with the cars,i am looking forward to racing again in 2012,i am giving the EVO a new overhaul,the oddie engine i sold it on,and sold the tourex clutch,so i am getting a new pipe,new engine and new clutch,i have not made my mind up yet on which engine but it will be some thing which was on top 6 from worlds this year so i will see

it is gone cold here now,down to freezing,it's good to have the leopard to play with to mess around with something.
any news waqr i must catch up here but most threads are not english here
